Attention Please:

With warm weather approaching (very soon!) we are directing your attention to the care and maintenance of the water meters. Please be mindful that lawnmowers and heavy equipment can very easily destroy a meter lid and the electrical components inside. 

Due to the increased amount of lids and meter components being destroyed by various means, The Ryker's Ridge Water Company will now be charging the person responsible for the damage for the cost of repairs, including: materials, parts and labor. The cost to replace a meter could possibly be up to $450 including: Meter- $300, Labor- $100, and Lid- $50. 

If a meter lid is removed, we would also ask that you kindly replace the lid tightly in the condition it was in.
